I'm nervous about dental implants. What should I do?
Send us your questions on WhatsApp or book a consultation. We will check your teeth and explain the steps, the time it takes and the cost before you decide.
Will you send me promotional messages if I save your number?
No. We only message you about your own appointments and care. We never send promotions.
Do you treat children and senior citizens?
Yes. We see the whole family, from a child's first check-up to dental care for grandparents.
Which clinic should I visit?
Choose the clinic nearest to you. If a treatment needs special equipment, we will tell you when you book.
My root canal treatment failed. Can the tooth still be saved?
Often, yes. A tooth with a failed root canal can sometimes be treated again with re-root canal treatment. Whether it can be saved depends on the tooth, the bone around it and the cause of the problem, which we check with an examination and an X-ray. If the tooth cannot be saved, we explain the other options, such as an implant or a bridge.
What is re-RCT (re-root canal treatment)?
Re-RCT means treating a tooth again when an earlier root canal has become infected or has not healed. The old filling material is removed, the canals are cleaned and sealed again, and the tooth is usually protected with a crown afterwards.
Is root canal treatment painful?
Root canal treatment is done under local anaesthesia, so most people feel pressure rather than pain during the procedure. Some tenderness for a few days afterwards is common. We explain what to expect and how to manage it before we begin.
What can smile designing fix?
Smile designing plans changes to the colour, shape, size or spacing of the front teeth, for example stains, chipped teeth or gaps. After a check-up we explain which treatments could suit you, such as whitening, bonding, veneers, crowns or aligners, along with the number of visits and the cost.
Can the gap between my front teeth be closed?
Often, yes. Depending on the size of the gap and your bite, a gap between the front teeth can be closed with tooth-coloured bonding, veneers or crowns, or with braces or aligners. We examine your teeth and explain the options, the number of visits and the cost before you decide.
How long does smile designing take?
It depends on the treatments in your plan. Whitening or bonding can often be done in one or two visits, while veneers, crowns or aligners take longer. After a check-up we give you a step-by-step plan with the number of visits.
Are dental treatments painful?
Most procedures are done under local anaesthesia. Some discomfort can occur during or after treatment depending on the procedure; we'll explain what to expect before we begin.
How can I pay?
Both clinics accept UPI and cash. The cost of your treatment is explained before it starts.
Which languages do you speak?
Odia, Hindi and English, at both clinics.
Can I see reviews or before-and-after photos?
In line with the Dental Council of India's Code of Ethics, we do not publish patient testimonials or before-and-after photographs. We're happy to discuss your treatment options in person.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Bring any previous dental X-rays or reports, a list of current medications, and details of any medical conditions. That helps us plan safely and accurately.
Do you handle dental emergencies?
For severe pain, swelling or a broken tooth, please call the clinic directly rather than messaging, so we can see you as soon as possible. On Thursdays, Shubha Dental Care is open 9:00 AM–1:30 PM and Shree Dental Clinic is closed.
